I’m excited to announce that Lou Biagioni has joined the Global Ag team as Claims Manager, Northern California. Lou is a highly regarded industry veteran who brings more than 20 years of crop insurance experience to the job, focused entirely on the western United States. As a Claims Manager, Lou will be responsible for assigning, reviewing, and approving claims from Stanislaus county to the north as well as supporting our agents in that region and will report to Jordan Waltman.
Lou has deep roots in the California ag industry where he got his start as a rice, grain and row crop farmer. Leveraging that experience, along with a degree from CSU Sacramento, Lou joined a large crop insurance provider as a claims adjuster. Over the subsequent 20 years Lou has established himself as one of the leading subject matter experts on complex crop insurance claims. Most recently Lou was responsible for claims and loss adjusting throughout the state of California at Rural Community Insurance Services.
Lou and his wife Alison reside in Northern California with their teenage son and are active in their local parish. Lou understands the unique challenges that growers in our region face today and the critical importance of providing exceptional service to insureds. We’re thrilled to have him onboard and look forward to the contribution he will make as we continue to grow in the western United States.
Please join me in welcoming Lou to Global Ag. He can be reached at (916) 747-4074 (Cell) or Lou@GlobalAg.com.
